About AAC of Greater Lowell Mission Statement"To assimilate all peoples of African descent into the Social, Economic and Political life of the Greater Lowell community"About AACAfrican Assistance Center is a non-profit organization which represents thousands of Africans in this community, providing them with important information and services to help them improve their quality of life. We re-affirm our commitment to creating a comfortable home for African people within the greater Lowell and Merrimack valley.We are located on the Sixth Floor (Room 603) of 9 Central Street in downtown Lowell. Anyone is welcome to stop by the office for more information.
PurposeThe aim of this program is to have a place where Africans will be able to access information on health care, job training, rules and regulations and education. It will also help the children whose parents are originally from Africa to understand their origin and also help them to appreciate the culture of their parents.
